The Preston Jovi Foundation is a 501(c)(3) veteran-founded nonprofit established in memory of Preston Jovi, a bright and joyful toddler whose life was tragically cut short due to gross professional negligence. His story is not just one of loss but of purpose—fueling our commitment to advocate for standardized healthcare practices that prioritize patient safety, accountability, and equitable access to quality medical care for all children.
We believe that no family should experience the preventable loss of a child due to inconsistent medical standards, lack of accountability, or systemic failures. To drive change, we are committed to:
✅ Advocating for uniform healthcare policies that ensure all children receive consistent, high-quality medical care, regardless of socioeconomic status.
✅ Promoting accountability within the healthcare system to prevent medical negligence and improve patient safety.
✅ Raising awareness and educating communities about the urgent need for better safeguards in pediatric care.
✅ Providing direct support to families affected by medical negligence, helping them navigate their grief while pushing for systemic reform.
We envision a healthcare system where every child’s life is valued, every family’s voice is heard, and preventable tragedies become a thing of the past. Through advocacy, education, and community support, the Preston Jovi Foundation is working to create a future where families no longer fear the consequences of medical negligence.
Join us in the fight for standardized, safe, and equitable healthcare for all children.

The state of Nevada does not provide financial assistance for funeral or cremation expenses. Some counties provide some assistance, e.g., Clark County Social Service accepts referrals for funeral benefits from funeral/cremation providers and cemeteries for indigent people who die within Clark County.
In Nevada, parents of babies lost before 20 weeks gestation do not automatically have the right to burial or cremation. Hospitals and healthcare providers are not required to offer these options for early losses, leaving grieving families with additional challenges.
The Preston Jovi Foundation advocates for change in this area, ensuring that all families, regardless of gestational age, have the right to honor their children through burial or cremation. For support or guidance regarding your option
